Why Was myEMSpath started?
myEMSpath was created from the founder’s firsthand experience working as an EMT. Through his time in the field, he saw the daily challenges and inefficiencies that many first responders face, from navigating complex certification requirements to securing the right job opportunities.
He recognized that these obstacles were more than minor frustrations; they were significant barriers preventing capable professionals from advancing in their careers. myEMSpath was built to confront these challenges directly, offering a streamlined, practical solution designed specifically to support the unique needs of first responders.
Our Vision
To address the ongoing shortage of first responders by reducing burnout, increasing access to rest during shifts, and helping prevent emergency vehicle accidents.
We aim to simplify the complex and often fragmented system of geographic-specific requirements, education pathways, certifications, and experience expectations—making it easier for individuals to enter and grow within the EMS profession.
By providing a centralized platform, we strive to transform the EMS industry, empowering job seekers and professionals to manage certifications, secure employment, and advance their careers with confidence and efficiency.

About the Founder
Gabe Schultz is the founder and CEO of myEMSpath. His background consists of a combination of EMS and business. He has had multiple years of 911 EMT experience in both Los Angeles county. He is a reservist in the U.S. Marine Corps, holding the MOS 7051 (Expeditionary Firefighting and Rescue). He has an ambitious mindset and is determined to help the first responder industry.
He earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Management and his Associate’s Degree in Fire Technology.
